BAAZAR RAMADAN
It is the month of fasting for Muslim country like Malaysia before the HARI RAYA PUASA CELEBRATION . The Muslim will fasting for one month before the celebration. During the fasting period , they breakfast before morning prayer or dawn prayer. The morning breakfast was called sahur , everyone in muslim family will get up early to have their breakfast together . After fasting about 12 hour , they ll eat again or they called "berbuka" when they hear the evening prayer or the azan .
The best thing during the fasting , every place will prepare a place for public to sell food for "BERBUKA" . This is good because the seller can find extra money for HARI RAYA PUASA preparation. The BAAZAR always start at 4 pm depends on their places . There is a lot of food variety to be choose for BERBUKA . Other people who didnt fasting like me also can come and buy the food.
Yesterday im visiting one of the baazar ramadan in Kota Kinabalu .It was located in GAYA STREET but the location is different from the SUNDAY MARKET . Usually SUNDAY MARKET will taking place at the road side because authority will close the road from morning until afternoon for the SUNDAY MARKET . Buy they cant close the road for BAAZAR RAMADAN because BAAZAR is open everyday . So their locate the BAAZAR at GAYA STREET open stage and some area near the old library .
The seller outlet is everywhere , which mean a lot of food being sold in this baazar ramadan.
Let's start survey the places :
Food is everywhere . Some of the seller cook at the baazar to serve good , fresh and delicious food their customer .
Some people will just wait until the azan and "BERBUKA" there with their friend before going home after working. I end up buy one drink and banana because i still full from eating for lunch. You actually can eat here if you are not fasting , but most of people here has been teach to respect our friend during the Ramadan , so we also bring home and eat those food at home .
