Hello everyone, hope everything is fine. Another Sunday! Another Mass! In the midst of our busy days, we will always find ways that we can attend mass during Sundays, its a time to reflect and pray. Attending mass every Sunday is a ritual I've come to cherish, a time to reconnect with my faith.
Here we lighted a candle to thank God for all the blessing that we received everyday especially for having a good health.
This Sunday we attended a mass together with my husband and my two kids. We chose to attend a mass at Theotokos Shrine located in Perrelos Carcar Cebu City.We just ride a motorcycle it's just 20 minutes away from my husband's house.
Theotokos Archdiocesan Shrine is a Roman Catholic and Marian Shrine, it is founded in 1992 and it became a shrine in 1996. The place called as a statue of Our Lady of the Family. It was once famous for the phenomena known as the dancing light.
Carcar City is the place of my husband, every time we visit there I liked to attend a mass in Theotokos it's a great place to talk to God, peaceful and full of solemnity. The serene and quietness of the place is just right for an intimate conversation with Papa God. The Shrine is on top hill, overlooking the sea and has holistic environment.
I really like the structure of the church as the walls are made of grills which allows utmost ventilation, no need electric fans.
Aside from the church, there is also an open structure where they also hold masses near the garden of Contemplation. Inside the garden is the huge image of the Lady of Fatima. Before there are huge images of seven Archangels all facing the Lady of Fatima but it was destroyed by the super typhoon 3 years ago.
