Hello Hello,
Welcome to my garden post. Summer will come soon. In the area where I live, the weather usually starts to get cold around the end of October. Before last winter, I planted a type of plant for the winter with my father. Those are strawberry plants. In the area where I live, strawberry plants grow year-round, but usually only bloom in the winter.
In the beginning, we have many strawberry plants in our house. However, they all grow together in one place. In order for strawberry plants to multiply easily, they need a large area to grow well. Only then will it be able to produce good fruit, otherwise the fruit will be small.
The picture I show above is a picture of all the strawberry plants planted in one pot. You can see in the picture that the strawberries from that plant are very small.
First, my father filled the pots he had chosen to use with compost and lined up the pots. My father made compost using unused vegetables from the kitchen and dried leaves from the yard. I think it's great for plants because it's natural compost.
Because the soil is hard, the strawberry roots will not grow well, so I shake the soil with a stick. In that way, I put the soil in all the pots.
First I split a strawberry plant. Strawberry plant is a type of creeping plants. So even though there are a lot of strawberry plants in a pot, all of those plants are branches from one plant. Therefore, when extracting the oil from each plant, I have to take care not to harm other plants.
Then I put the strawberry plant in a pot with soil and covered the roots with soil.
That way, before winter came, my father and I planted the strawberry plants separately in pots. I got a total of 12 pots.
Now, all the plants have sprouted many plants and many flowers are blooming.
Now, I get at least 4 ripe strawberries a day from those strawberry plants. On days when I don't pick strawberries, the birds usually come and eat those strawberries. Above are some pictures I took in my small garden today. That's it for today. Thank you very much for reading my post to the end.
