Warm greetings to all my friends. About 5 days ago I bought a clay 1 pack. But these days I haven't shared about clay art in a long time. I prefer to do clay art compared to papercraft and clay art. Because I think clay items are easier and more beautiful. Yesterday I shared how to create a DIY project using a recycled product.
Today I will tell you about my clay art. Actually, I wanted to make some cute items using clay today. However, the clay I bought was too soft and too sticky to make items. So I made 3D flowers on cardboard using these soft clays. The 3D flowers I made are shown above. I used clay as well as other materials to make these 3D flowers. Below I mention the materials I used.

Step-1
My cardboard is equal on the sides and the size is the size I want, so I do not need to cut it again. I would like to use a slightly darker purple color to paint on cardboard. But since the purple I have is a very dark color, I need to combine the colors. I mixed red, white, and blue on a piece of cardboard. When mixed, I got the purple color I wanted. If you want a slightly darker purple as shown in my picture, you should use a little more red when mixing colors. I painted the purple to the entire surface of the cardboard. So far I have not been able to get the color I want on the cardboard.

Step-2
I rolled up a small piece of newspaper. I smeared the piece of newspaper on the purple I had painted. Then I painted some parts of the cardboard blue and pressed a little more with a piece of newspaper. Now I have the color I want on cardboard. I painted it like gravity purple color on cardboard.

Step-3
Now is the time to use clay. My clay is very soft and sticky as shown in the picture. For clay, I used only two colors, white and purple. First, I made circles of white color clay. I have not used purple color clay in this step.

Step-4
Now is the time to make some flowers. First I made one of the biggest flowers. I put a white clay ball somewhere on the cardboard. Then I press the circle ball and pull it down. That way I made a circle around it. Now it looks a bit like a flower. But it is not perfect yet.
In the same way, I made two more white flowers for sale on cardboard. The three flowers are identical but different in size. The flower at the bottom of the cardboard is the smallest.

Step-5
In this step I will start using purple color clay. I made three circles of purple clay. I glued those purple clay in the middle of the white flowers. I used purple for the background color of the cardboard, so I also used purple for the inside of the flower.

Step-6
I used paint brush to make spots on the purple clay inside the flower. I also used a paint brush to apply some pressure to the edges of the purple clay. And in the middle of the white clay of the flower, I used a paint brush to apply a little pressure. After doing this, I think the white flower becomes more beautiful.
In the same way, I made two small white flowers. There are not many steps left to finish these 3D flowers.

Step-7
I used a little white color clay to make some white petals on the cardboard. Petal making is the same as making white flower. Then I painted a little purple on the bottom of those small white petals. Now it's done.

If you like what I said above, you should try it too. I used this 3D flower mainly in clay and paint color, so I don't need a lot of materials and a lot of steps. Actually, I'm not good at choosing colors. If you can choose colors well and mix colors, your 3D flower project will be more beautiful. If you choose the background color pink, you should also choose the inside of the flower pink. That choice will make your flower more vibrant. Thank you very much for reading my post.🍇
