Yesterday I talked about the items I bought at the market. And I told you today that I've going to do a DIY project using double tape. Today I made a DIY using that double tape and ribbon. The DIY I made today is reeds flowers. Making reeds flowers is one of the most popular DIY ways using make ribbons. About 6 months ago, I saw a video on making teds flowers using ribbons on tik tok. At the time, I was running out of double tape and did not try. Today I'll successfully created a reeds flower using the easiest method, so I will now share with you how to make it.
Materials-
- ribbon
- double tape
- Stick
- Cardboard
- pencil and ruler
Step-1
On the first piece of cardboard, I drew a rectangle measuring 3.5 inches x 2.5 inches. Then I cut the cardboard with scissors.
Step-2
Now is the time to use ribbon and cardboard. On cardboard, I put one end of the ribbon. Then I wrapped the ribbon in cardboard as needed. If you want a large number of ribbons, you will need to wrap a large number of ribbons around the cardboard.
Step-3
Then I cut the rest of the ribbon with scissors. I also used scissors to cut one end of the ribbon wrapped in cardboard. When you have finished cutting, you will get the ribbon fragments as shown in the picture.
Step-4
On one side of the double tape, I lined up the ribbon pieces as shown in the picture.
Step-5
Then I used a comb to clean the edge of a ribbon as shown in the picture. When done, the ribbon will turn into pink hair as shown in the picture. I made all the other ribbons the same way.
Step-6
I glued one end of the remaining tape surface to the stick. The stick I used was made of cardboard and glued to the outside with green tape. Once the whole ribbon is glued to the stick, you get a beautiful reeds flower.
This is very easy to do and does not require many steps. But the first one I made was the reeds flowers, which took me about 30 minutes to make. Above are some pictures of reeds flowers I made. I think it would be more beautiful to do this with a white ribbon. I only had that pink ribbon, so I used that color. Thank you.🍇
