For the second time I'm posting for the #monomad challenge, an initiative created and curated by @monochrome.
See the bases here.
Mixed feelings: I like my photos, but I know they are not what they should be. Art should be very self-critical, but right now I don't feel very capable. I've had fun, learned (I think) a thing or two and, well, I guess I can handle a peccadillo or two at this age!
Here are my photos. I hope they are worth someone's gaze.
The ox. It accompanied the Child in the manger. The piece belonged to a very dear friend.
The donkey. Another piece of the same Nativity. My friend, wherever she is, must be smiling.
Clay vase with flower, made by a very shy little girl in a school. She let me photograph it, then hid behind her teacher and wouldn't tell me her name.
Cuerpoespín. Maceta en una posada que visité hace dos años. Un lugar abarrotado de esculturas con una vista al mar muy bella.
Sea cockroach. From the fantastic collection of a biologist friend.
And a paprika of unknown origin. It wasn't the most lush, but it had a beautiful texture.
The photograph was originally in color. That was quite a bit of editing practice!
