Here are some macro shots of an Asiatic bood tail dragonfly. Lathrecista asiatica—the scientific name—is the only species of the genus Lathrecista in the family Libellulidae. This one is a male, typically not friendly, but for some reason, this guy was pleasant to me. He let me take a closer shot and he was fine with that. My friend said maybe I could cast a spell to tame this guy. No... I didn't need a spell. I just needed luck, and it happened to be on my side then.
