"What's on her mind?" I wondered as I noticed the little girl lost in her thoughts. Maybe she was upset that no one was taking her clubbing tonight. I had no idea; I could only guess what was happening. My movements seemed to break her reverie. Our eyes met, and she jumped to a branch and then to another leaf. But she did not disappear from my sight. What a sweet frog! Those eyes were big but sad. Initially, I thought she had gotten lost in the shrub, but then I learned that tree frogs (Rhacophoridae) mostly live there.
