Monomad: Kapluk Mantis

in #hive-1421593 days ago

Let's call him Kapluk! He is an Asian mantis found in the bushes. He is as smart as any mantis. He may be a young mantis much smaller than my finger, but he is quite agile in moving around. His neck is long and slender, and sometimes he shows a head movement usually done by boxers. Almost all mantises I have encountered are photogenic; even this one is the same. This is what makes me never tire of photographing mantises.

Beautiful pictures with excellent compositions, certainly a very different way of looking at a mantis!
