Capturing macro objects on dangerous plants has always been a challenge for me. Two plants always irritate me, and I prefer to avoid them: the wood nettles that can cause excruciating itching on your skin and the holly-leaved acanthus plant with its sharp thorns. But sometimes you have to take the risk.
I noticed a heavy jumping spider crawling on a holly-leaved acanthus plant. Damn it! Why did it have to be on that fucking plant? Why didn't it move to another plant?
It must have had its reasons. The plant's sharp fangs were protecting this jumper from annoying enemies. I can assure you; that I am not the kind of guy it should consider an enemy. But still, this confession was not an exception.
The jumper was hiding among the sharp fangs that could always hurt my fingers if I was not careful. It felt safe there, and I was lucky; it was still within range of my shot. It was a draw!
