I chose the photo above to be my first photo because I really just liked the simplicity of it and in the complex world that we find ourselves currently living in I think a little simplicity now and then is sometimes needed and even welcomed! When I took this next photo I didn't even realize that there were some birds flying by in the background but it was a nice surprise to see them once I was home and viewed my photos on a big screen even if they are but little dots in the scene.
I took these photos on a very early morning walk at Cromwell Valley Park which is located at approximately 2175 Cromwell Bridge Road in Baltimore County, Maryland. It isn't an area of the park that I've completely seen before and still haven't seen completely.
My husband and I had just walked down a gently sloping hill with buttercups to either side and when we took a left turn at the bottom we saw that the sun shining behind a couple of trees made the fresh new leaves glisten brightly.
In this next photo you would almost think that you were staring at a full moon but it is just the sun shining bright in the early morning.
I have to say that is was a beautiful scene and I certainly appreciated capturing the moment. I also think that the scene is as beautiful if not more so pictured in black and white! 🖤
