My contribution to the #monomad challenge hosted and curated by @monochromes.
A few days ago this week after I finished breakfast, I went to my farm yard to pick up some chili seeds which I sowed in polybets in the farm yard to plant in my backyard and so that I could quickly reach the farm yard, I decided to walk through the abandoned land area which was not too far from my house and by walking along a path surrounded by local forest.
And on the way I found a pile of fallen tree leaves after being cut down by the owner some time ago and the leaves of the tree looked so damp and as I walked past the pile of fallen leaves from a distance my saw something stuck to surface of that fallen wooden twigs.
Finally, when I returned home along the same road and out of curiosity I tried to approach the wooden twig and it turned out that I found a horn beetle which had a characteristic color camouflaged with the color of the surface of the dry wooden twig.
This insect is an active insect that has a body texture that is integrated with the head and also has three pairs of legs with two antennae that are longer than the legs and after I delivered the chili seeds home, I returned to the area where the beetles were with my camera equipment.
and they are beetles Monochamus galloprovincialis
I found these beetles on the surface of fallen wooden branches adjacent to several logs located in the local forest environment and the beetles did not appear to be moving too actively even though several times the close-up external lens I used on my smartphone accidentally hit them.During the shooting process and all the results of that beetle shots, you can find them here.
