Buildings, Reflections and Vehicles.
Some time ago I thought about making a compilation of random shots as I visit places, walking through the streets and unexpectedly. I'm always thinking about photography and compositions so if I see something that I consider interesting I take a photo of it. I didn't set an exact time but I think it's been about two months since I thought about it and I only have 7 photos 😂 I took most of them with my phone except the last one.
Come with me to see what this is all about.
This is my favorite shot, without having to think about it too much.
At that moment I was walking with my son to see a play, the place was behind the national congress, coincidentally... When we crossed the avenue I noticed the sky, the bars that surround the building, the light in the background, I stopped for a few seconds to take this photo. It was getting dark, blue hour.
Oh! How much I missed reflections, I've forgotten a little about this actually. I took this photo in the Palermo neighborhood while I was returning from running errands in the area. A small puddle can do interesting things.
I really like this photo, that building is perfectly located in that corner and those branches above had to be included in the composition. I don't know exactly what building it is or what it's called. The neighborhood where I took the photo is Balvanera, near a shopping area called Once.
I guess this was in the Belgrano neighborhood, I'm not too sure yet.
It was an afternoon of activities and this is a natatorium, a small public school academy. We attended here with the kids to do a special activity together with other friends. The building is quite interesting, it must surely be more than half a century old.
I took another diagonal photo of the natatorium building, it has a much more complete composition, I really like those shadows of the trees on the ground and the light.
Let's move on to something totally different... two vehicles, the first is a kind of crane that we use in the workshop where I work to move tons, cars, etc.
And the second is a subway formation from one of the E line stations.
This is the only photo of this set that I took with my camera, it was yesterday and it is dedicated to my country (Venezuela 🇻🇪) for everything we are going through at this tragic moment.
Our flag on a balcony in the Belgrano neighborhood, Buenos Aires.
That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
