It's quite a challenge to find good places where you can combine certain elements for some compositions. It is a challenge when you walk through the streets doing errands and not exactly a photographic walk. I take advantage of all possible scenarios and I am always aware of where the light hits and where there are shadows, also of the backgrounds and what is attractive in that area. If there isn't an iconic building or a beautifully designed urban landscape, that's where I have to look for ways to create something with what I have.

Luckily some scenarios occur naturally and that is the most interesting thing in street photography, the most spontaneous, the moment as it is.

I have some photos here that are related to shapes, lines, pedestrian crossings and some contrast. These first shots are from the Palermo neighborhood, but in an area where I usually didn't walk. I always dream of walking through the same areas and it is interesting to see and appreciate other panoramas of the city or the same neighborhood.

I also found this building and took a photo from below (low angle) to have this somewhat different perspective.

I actually took the next photo because of that street art work that can be seen on the building in the background and also because of the line and arrows on the pavement.

Moving on to another neighborhood... well actually it's the same neighborhood in Palermo but this is a sub-neighborhood called Las Cañitas. An upper class area where even in these times these cabins are used for the safety of the neighborhood. There are guards who take care of the area. This was seen decades ago and is still true today.

That car is always parked there, it was time to take at least a photo of it.
