I was waiting for this moment and I'm very excited to share what I consider a second part of my photos at the Caballito train station. I don't remember exactly how many photos I took there but I'm thinking it was more than 100, I always discard many, mostly those that don't catch me.... simple photos, but in this case I discarded very few and honestly I wanted them all to be black and white 😄 but no.... I also think it's a good idea to offer two different versions and that's why yesterday I shared the first part in color.
In my mind and according to my tastes and preferences I have left many others to share today in black and white, this time focusing on people, trains are great, cityscapes and streetscapes but when it comes to people, black and white does magic.
The first photo is definitely my favorite by far.

Estaba esperando este momento y estoy muy emocionado de compartir lo que considero una segunda parte de mis fotos en la estación de tren Caballito. No recuerdo exactamente cuántas fotos tomé allí pero estoy pensando en que fueron más de 100, siempre descarto muchas, más que todo aquellas que no me atrapen... fotos simples, pero en este caso descarté muy pocas y honestamente quería que todas fuesen en blanco y negro 😄 pero no... También pienso que es buena idea ofrecer dos versiones diferentes y por eso ayer compartí la primera parte en color.
En mi mente y según mis gustos y preferencias he dejado muchas otras para compartirlas hoy en blanco y negro, está vez enfocándome en las personas, los trenes son geniales, los paisajes urbanos y las calles pero cuando se trata de personas, el blanco y negro hace magia.
La primera foto es definitivamente mi favorita por lejos.
I love the results of these first 5 photos, I was standing up on the footbridge where people change platforms to go in different directions and I had the opportunity to take photos of the station itself and the trains, I did and that's what I posted yesterday but really the first thing I did was to look down to the street, as people crossed from one side to the other and the sunlight hit that part of the street. I automatically thought of capturing the walking action of some of them.
Some were walking their dogs, some were not. I was behind a screen and managed to do something that interests me a lot, to get these shots from up there as I had thought many days before and having as a reference some famous photographers, the unfortunate thing is that it would have been much better during the golden hour.

Me encantan los resultados de estas primeras 5 fotos, estaba parado arriba en la pasarela donde las personas cambian de andén para ir en diferentes direcciones y tenía la oportunidad de tomar fotos a la propia estación y a los trenes, lo hice y eso fué lo que publiqué ayer pero realmente lo primero que hice fué mirar abajo a la calle, mientras las personas cruzaban de un lado a otro y la luz del sol golpeaba esa parte de la calle. Automáticamente pensé en capturar la acción de caminar de algunos de ellos.
Algunos paseaban a sus perros, otros no. Yo estaba detrás de una malla y logré hacer algo que me interesa muchísimo, lograr estás tomas desde allí arriba tal cual lo había pensado muchos días antes y teniendo como referencia algunos famosos fotógrafos, lo lamentable es que hubiese sido mucho mejor durante la hora dorada.
Above we have a photo of the train tracks, in that direction is a few stations away the final route of this branch, which is known as Once and from there comes other trains to the west. I was not very interested in capturing that, so I only decided to share that photo.
Below is a detailed photo of the security mesh that surrounds the footbridge.
But let's appreciate now some people inside the station, from the platform while leaving this place and others entering the station.

Acá arriba tenemos una foto de las vías del tren, hacia esa dirección está a pocas estaciones la ruta final de este ramal, lo que se conoce como Once y de allá viene otros trenes hacia la zona oeste. No me interesaba mucho capturar eso, por ello solo decidí compartir esa foto.
Más abajo una foto en detalle de la malla de seguridad que rodea la pasarela.
Pero vamos a apreciar ahora algunas personas dentro de la estación, del andén mientras abandonan este lugar y otras que ingresan.
There are many people who use this means of transportation to travel with their bicycles, most of them live in the last stations or in stations far from the federal capital, so they travel with their vehicle inside the train to be able to move by bicycle inside the capital, it is an option that nowadays can be favorable taking into consideration that the subway and bus ticket is increasing rapidly and it is more expensive.
That is why it is normal and common to see this, there are even some train cars enabled to hang each bicycle.

Hay muchísimas personas que utilizan este medio de transporte para viajar con sus bicicletas, la mayoría viven en las últimas estaciones o en estaciones lejos de capital federal, así que viajan con su vehículo dentro del tren para poder movilizarse en bicicleta dentro de capital, es una opción que hoy en día puede ser favorable tomando en consideración que el boleto de subterráneo y bus está aumentando rápidamente y es más caro.
Por eso es normal y común ver esto, incluso hay algunos coches del tren habilitados para colgar cada bicicleta.
A few weeks ago I found out about a contest precisely in the subway where they were looking for photographers to work together in advertising projects, it was an important opportunity to apply, I was very pending to do it but days later I forgot about it 😂 when I remembered the selection time was over, but well that's me. It would have been interesting to get good shots inside the tunnels and in other places inaccessible to the public, but as I work in the subway I still have the possibility 🤣
To finish I leave you with some other photos inside this station and while walking along the platforms from one side to the other. In addition to this, I took pictures of some people before entering the station :)

Hace algunas semanas me enteré de un concurso precisamente del subterráneo dónde buscaban fotógrafos para trabajar en conjunto en proyectos de publicidad, era una oportunidad importante para aplicar, estaba muy pendiente de hacerlo pero días después lo olvidé 😂 cuando recordé ya había terminado el tiempo de selección, pero bueno así soy yo. Hubiese sido interesante conseguir buenas tomas dentro de los túneles y en otros lugares inaccesibles al público, pero como trabajo en el subterráneo aún tengo la posibilidad 🤣
Para finalizar les dejos otras fotos dentro de esta estación y mientras caminaba por los andenes de un lado a otro. Además de esto, tomé fotos de algunas personas antes de entrar a la estación :)
Espero que las disfruten tanto como yo en el momento de tomarlas y editarlas.
