And here I am, sharing more series of beach photos. At this moment I don't remember if this set is about a single place or different beaches in the south of Mar del Plata. Whenever I go to edit I know exactly which photos I want to be in black and white, so yes... I take the photos in color and in Lightroom I convert them to black and white. Generally when I see in the thumbnail the type of light and shadows in a shot and what to do, this is how I make my selections.
Another aspect that I take into account are sunsets and silhouettes, if there is some fog or backlight, that is the main thing to recognize that the photo will not have color. Putting all this aside I should have added that my preferences lean more towards black and white than color, really.
This is funny, I have read and heard people say that when we think a photo is not so good we suppress the color and that improves it, the details go unnoticed and somehow "improves" the shot.
I'm not sure that's really the case, at least it doesn't happen to me, quite the opposite. Many times I select in the way I previously described but many times I go in search of black and white photos, in search of settings and moments. In the process I know what I want to achieve and the conditions have to be appropriate.
When I really want a good shot, I don't try to save photos by eliminating the color, I try to find the settings and get something that I like. In the same way, it is particular for me because first, each vision is unique and second, I even think in black and white many times before seeking to capture something.
Some small houses, closed umbrellas and a moderately cloudy sky were some of the scenarios for this set.
Some people walking back and forth, doing what someone would commonly do on a beach.
People in the sea, waves come and go, small mountains in the background. A beautiful place to share with you through these images :)
That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
