From my last visit to the town of Bernal I have some photos to share with you of this train station. As I mentioned in my last post, I was there taking a couple of photos until they told me I couldn't do it until I had authorization, that's a lot of bureaucracy, so I took out my phone and took these shots. This reminded me of my beginnings in photography, this is how I started in this world.
These places are really interesting because you can play with many elements, the structure of the station itself, the contrast of lights and shadows, the passengers, the trains and even long exposures.
In this set there are only two photos taken with my camera, the rest were with my phone.
One of the advantages of the train stations that are on the outskirts of the federal capital is that they are not so busy, well not all of them. But they do have a particular aesthetic. Bernal station is very quiet, I never see so many people and that in my opinion makes it interesting, less chaos.
I tried several shots from the ground level, low angle shots that I always used to do a few years ago and it stayed in my perspective.
Some people decorate the compositions.
I would like to investigate which season is more interesting to achieve some symmetry, There are many lines and good angles to take advantage of and the sunsets would be even cooler, It's a shame that these areas are not so safe.
I have gotten more than 15 photos for this set and I have added some more that I took when arriving in Capital, buildings...
It's always interesting to use the wide angle of the phone camera to get these perspectives, the 18mm too, although you want a more wide angle lens, I hope to buy it soon. Although there are many photos of these trains and the station, one of my favorites was this reflection that I got without looking for it, it is one of the most interesting shots in my opinion.
Still, you are free to decide which one you liked and I hope to know in the comments :)
That's all folks. Thanks for stopping by and appreciating.
