There used to be these series of advertisments which ran in Melbourne which simply said 'Look Up' for a while I thought they were for a convertible, maybe a very clever Mazda MX-5 ad, then I thought maybe it was a philosophy for life, that we spend to long with our head buried in our phones and not paying attention to life, that we need to Look Up.
But I dismissed that as why would someone promote that - with nothing to sell.
It turns out the second theory was closer to the truth here is the website nominally a organisation which is helping with mental health.
Or is it? This gives a clue. Notice something, they are all outdoor advertising panels. Click on the Facebook or linkedIn icons at the bottom of the 'Look Up' page and you are lead to OMA - Outdoor Media Associate (or Australia) so there we go there is something to sell us - it's rectangles.
And no that wasn't what I was expecting to write (or find out) when I started writing this post, I was going to say something about lovely Monochrome photos, the beauty of Melbourne Architecture on a grey day - but instead I uncovered a conspiracy.
