Traditional dances are still chosen by them – the children in my village – as their extracurricular activities to fill the holidays towards the end of this year's semester at school. They perform a traditional Acehnese dance known as the "Seudati Dance," which is still well preserved today. This dance is usually played by men in their typical attire.
These images demonstrate their exercise routine. Children, men and women join together while stamping their feet and fingers which is the hallmark of this traditional dance. Meanwhile, other groups also performed other traditional dances. This dance is called Saman Dance. Here are some of the movements in this dance:
