Hello everyone in Black and White community, this is my entry for the #monomad challenge. Thank you to @monochromes for taking the initiative to host daily challenges in this wonderful community.
I love walking through the woods with my headphones on. I adore the lighting beneath the tree, which shines through the branches to the ground. I enjoy the silences since there are no honking vehicles or voices, just me and the music. In this atmosphere, I can take some self-portrait shots that are right for my style and who I am without being shy.
I like to place myself in a large space, in the centre of the frame, so that the audience can immediately focus on the main object. I often play with the contrast between light and dark to highlight the primary character, therefore I like standing beneath a large natural light source while the surroundings are a little darker.
Because I do everything from taking the photograph to doing the poses, I have a limited number of photo ideas. But every now and then, I come across some amazing ideas and try to duplicate or do something fresh with them. These are some images that I believe are quite cool.
