Hello #Hive monochromatic friends!.... August ends today, and it's a month that has left me with an abundant ollection of street images despite the fact that during the first few weeks I was more focused on taking pictures in the nature around my village. But street photography here in my village is not always a matter of proportion to the time invested in it? Sometimes a couple of hours wandering in the streets is enough and I can take a lot of pictures. Other times I can even stay in one place and there enjoy the typical diversity of the streets, which gives me a handful of pictures always worth taking, processing and sharing with you here on #Hive... So come with me and taking a look at this series of photos I have for you today!

¡Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive!... Agosto termina hoy, y es un mes que me ha dejado una abundante colección de imágenes callejeras a pesas de que durante sus primeras semanas estuve más avocado a hacer fotografías en la naturaleza alrededor de mi pueblo. Pero hacer fotografías de calle aquí en mi pueblo no es siempre una cuestión proporcional al tiempo que se invierta en ello... Algunas veces es suficiente con un par de horas deambulando en las calles y puedo hacer una gran cantidad de fotos. Otras veces incluso puedo quedarme en un mismo lugar y allí disfrutar de la diversidad típica de las calles, la cual me regala un puñado de fotografías siempre dignas de hacer, procesar y compartir con ustedes aquí en #Hive... ¡Acompáñenme entonces a mirar esta serie de fotos que traigo para ustedes hoy!.

Sometimes it's difficult for me not to feel a little uncomfortable watching everything that goes on in the streets of my town. As I have said before, this is a place affected by a severe social and economic crisis and that is palpable everywhere you look. But on the other hand, I think about it and conclude that recording bad times is also a fundamental part of the exercise of street photography. For, as is often the case with the difficult side of all things, it serves to express reality in a sharper and more precise way. This is therefore a photographic activity that is very much linked to the psychological and often transcends the technical aspect of photography and speaks of the human drama present in it... I suppose this is why most of my photographic work is carried out in the streets of the village...

A veces se me hace difícil no sentirme un poco incomodo mirando todo cuanto sucede en las calles de mi pueblo. Tal como lo he dicho antes, este es un lugar afectado por una severa crisis social y económica y eso es palpable en donde sea que uno dirija la mirada. Pero por otra parte pienso al respecto y concluyo que el registrar los malos tiempo es también parte fundamental del ejercicio de la fotografía callejera. Pues, como suele suceder con el lado difícil de todas las cosas, sirven para expresar la realidad de una manera más nítida y precisa. Esta es entonces una actividad fotográfica muy ligada a lo psicológico y con frecuencia trasciende más allá del aspecto técnico de la fotografía y habla del drama humano presente en ella... Supongo que es por todo esto que la mayor parte de mi trabajo fotográfico lo llevo a cabo en las calles del pueblo...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
