Hello monochromatic #Hive friends!... I continue taking walks on the country roads around my town... Every year, when the rainy season arrives, the vegetation greens up and offers thousands of tiny and changing shapes ideal for macro and close-up photography...

¡Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive!... Continúo haciendo paseos en los caminos rurales alrededor de mi pueblo... Cada año, cuando llega la temporada de lluvias, la vegetación reverdece y ofrece miles de formas diminutas y cambiantes ideales para hacer fotografía macro y close-up...

What happens amidst the foliage at the side of the roads in the countryside is something magical enough for even an amateur photographer like me, more inclined to the everydayness of the streets, to find artistic meaning in the abstraction, harmony and diversity of forms in nature... Then, when I do this I learn a bit more about myself and discover that there is a lot of art in the leaves, the stems, the tendrils of the vines and even in the spider webs and dust... It's a lovely micro-cosmos of things and they are there to be photographed!...

Aquello que sucede en medio del follaje a la vera de los caminos en el campo, es algo lo suficientemente mágico como para que incluso un fotógrafo aficionado como yo, más proclive a la cotidianidad de las calles; encuentre el sentido artístico en la abstracción, la armonía y la diversidad de las formas en la naturaleza... Entonces, cuando hago esto aprendo un poco más de mi mismo y descubro que hay un montón de arte en las hojas, los tallos, los zarcillos de las enredaderas e incluso en las telarañas y el polvo... ¡Es un micro-cosmos encantador de cosas y están allí para ser fotografiadas!...

These photos shared with you today, correspond to walks taken during two days, in one of them (last Saturday) I used a 100mm macro lens and in the other (yesterday) I used a 50mm prime lens combined with a Raynox DCR-150 close-up lens, which is a very interesting combination to take macro photos indeed. At the bottom of each photo you can see which ones were taken with the 100mm lens and which ones with the 50mm as well as some additional parameter settings for each photo. These were all taken in aperture priority (A) mode and with manual focus camera hand held and using only natural light... Just the way I like to do this, as if it was a handmade painting or something like that!... ;)

Estas fotos compartidas hoy con ustedes, corresponden a caminatas hechas durante dos días, en uno de ellos (el pasado sábado) usé un lente para macros de 100mm y en el otro (ayer) usé un objetivo también de focal fija pero de 50mm combinado con una lentilla de acercamiento Raynox DCR-150, la cual es una combinación muy interesante para hacer fotos macro ciertamente. Al pie de cada foto pueden ver cuales fueron hechas con el lente 100mm y cuales con el 50mm además de algunos otros parámetros de ajustes adicionales para cada foto. Todas fueron tomadas en modo de prioridad de apertura (A) y con enfoque manual además de cámara sostenida a pulso y usando solo luz natural... ¡Tal como me gusta hacer esto, como si fuese una pintura artesanal o algo así!... ;)

By the way, I wish tell you an anecdote from Saturday when I was taking some of these photos on a road surrounded by trees, I was taking photos of some small leaf buds in formation (you'll see these in photo 📷 11) and then I started talking out loud, I told them (yes, to the little leaf bud I was crouching in front of) how beautiful it looked, how artistic it was and I even think I remember raising my eyes to the sky and saying "thank you geez"; all this without noticing that a young couple was passing just a few feet behind me... Maybe they had already seen me talking to dogs and cats in the streets, but I think that seeing me talking to a plant is something they didn't expect!... hahaha :)... And so "The crazy guy with the camera did it again"... hahaha :))

Por cierto, tengo una anécdota del día sábado cuando me encontraba haciendo algunas de estas fotos en un camino rodeado de árboles, me dediqué ha hacer fotos de algunos botes de hojas pequeñas en formación (verán estas en la foto 📷 11) y entonces comencé a hablar en voz alta, les dije (sí, al pequeño brote de hojas frente al cual estaba agachado) cuan hermoso lucía, cuan artístico era e incluso creo recordar que alcé mis ojos al cielo y dije "gracias caray"; todo esto sin percatarme de que una joven pareja estaba pasando justo a pocos metros a mis espaladas... ¡La cara de ambos era un poema!... ¡Quizás ya ellos me había visto hablar con perros y gatos en las calles, pero creo que verme hablando con una planta es algo que no esperaban!... hahaha :)... Y así "El tipo loco con la cámara lo hizo de nuevo"... hahaha :))

They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
