Hello monochrome #Hive friends!... Welcome to a new edition of my black and white photographs. This time I've gone beyond my beloved everyday streets, I've gone beyond the limits of the town centre and into the rural roads towards the North...

¡Hola amigos monocromáticos de #Hive!... Bienvenidos a una nueva edición de mis fotografías en blanco y negro. Esta vez he ido más allá de mis amadas calles de diario, traspasé los limites del casco urbano del pueblo y me adentré en los caminos rurales hacia el Norte...

"On the way to the kick-off" / _{"Por el camino al inicio de jornada"}

In the countryside everything happens more slowly, people go about their daily tasks at the pace that the heat, the rain and their own tiredness allow them to do so... In the countryside there is also that kind of feeling of ‘time standing still’ or of ‘the past happening again’ which is something really charming for someone who, like me, likes to take photographs with a particular concept.

En el campo todo sucede de manera más lenta, las personas cumplen su tarea diaria al ritmo que el calor, la lluvia y el propio cansancio, se lo permiten... También ocurre en el campo esa especie de sensación de "tiempo paralizado" o de "pasado ocurriendo otra vez" lo cual es algo realmente encantador para alguien que, como yo, guste de hacer fotografías con un concepto particular.

As I have said before in some of my posts; I find it hard to leave my streets behind as I love taking street photos. But once I summon up my willpower and get to our rural roads, I feel just as happy taking photos there. The people here are a bit more shy and in many cases I know them less than those in the village; however, I can always find them full of sympathy and some funny ones, like this father and his son who is intimidated by the camera and lowers his face while his father jokes and tells him to raise his face... :)

Tal como he dicho antes en algunos de mis posts; a mi me cuesta dejar atrás mis calles pues amo hacer fotos callejeras. Pero una vez que hago acopio de mi fuerza de voluntad y llego a nuestros caminos rurales, me siento igual de encantado haciendo fotos allí. La gente aquí es un poco más tímida y en muchos casos les conozco menos que a los del pueblo; sin embargo, siempre puedo encontrar repletas de simpatía y algunas divertidas, como la de este padre y su hijo quien se siente intimidado por la cámara y baja el rostro mientras su padre le bromea y le dice que levante su rostro... :)

"Mechanization" / _{"Mecanización"}

Some still have their work animals and others have farm tractors!.... That's the way it is, that's the way it is in the countryside in a country like ours... I have a preference for that charming, tender, woolly donkey baby with his mother... But I have my reservations about a tractor billowing smoke and spraying the grass with some chemical, but that's the way it is, that's the contrast between one and the other as I said before.

¡Algunos siguen teniendo sus animales de trabajos y otros tienen tractores agrícolas!... Así es esto, así son los contraste en el campo de un país como el nuestro... ¡Yo tengo preferencia por ese encantador borrico tierno y lanudo junto a su madre!... Pero tengo mis reservas respecto a un tractor lanzando humo y fumigando el pasto con algún producto químico, pero así es esto, así es el contraste entre uno y lo otro como dije antes.

"Another photo on the road" / _{"Otra foto en el camino"}

Photos taken directly on the road are one of my favourites when I'm in the countryside. These photos always have something to tell, when I meet people on these paths there is always a tiny story at the very least. Look at this particular photo with a man coming along on his bike in the background and another in the foreground carrying a piece of firewood on his back, probably to cook his dinner a bit later at home... Lovely!...

Las fotos hechas directamente al camino son de mis favoritas cuando estoy en el campo. Estas fotos siempre tienen algo que contar, cuando encuentro personas en estos caminos siempre hay una diminuta historia cuando menos. Miren esta foto en particular con un hombre viniendo sobre su bicicleta al fondo y otro en primer plano llevando un trozo de leña a sus espaldas, seguramente para cocinar su cena un poco más tarde en su casa... ¡Encantador!...

"¡Ñam!" / _"¡Ñam!"

Cows do funny things like in this photo when one of them cleans its nose using its own tongue... What a funny thing to do!... They are lovely animals and you can have a great time looking at them and taking pictures close to them...

Las vacas hacen cosas simpáticas como por ejemplo en esta foto cuando una de ellas limpia su nariz usando su propia lengua... ¡Vaya cosa más divertida!... Son animales encantadores y se puede uno pasar un excelente rato mirándolas y haciendo fotos cercanas a ellas...

"The Sentinel" / _{"El centinela"}

Those little lizards, like the one in the photo, like to sunbathe on the fence posts and at the same time seem to enjoy watching everyone on the road... They are also extremely friendly...! :))

Esas pequeñas lagartijas como la de la foto, gustan de tomar el sol sobre los postes de las alambradas y al mismo tiempo parecen disfrutar observando a todo el que va por el camino... ¡Son también extremadamente simpáticas!.. :))

"New generations" / _{"Nuevas generaciones"}

Not all young people have left the village in search of better life opportunities. Some of them have wanted to opt for a life more similar to of their parents and have adopted farming as a life project. These young people are truly worthy of admiration, because the current economic and social conditions are difficult in our country and in our country as a whole. So they have an arduous road ahead of them, but they have all the energy necessary to emerge victorious...

No todos los jóvenes se han ido del pueblo en busca de mejores oportunidades de vida. Algunos de ellos han querido apostar por una vida más parecida a la de sus padres y han adoptado las labores del campo como proyecto de vida. Estos chicos son realmente dignos de admiración, pues las condiciones económicas y sociales actuales son difíciles en nuestro y en todo nuestro país, así que tienen por delante un camino arduo, pero ellos tienen toda la energía necesaria para salir victoriosos...

_{ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape 3.6.3.}

_{NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape 3.6.3.}
