Hello #Hive friends!.... As you already know, my "Stolen Stories" usually include photos of people, but also street scenes, animals, details and related... But the street portraits are piling up on my hard drives!.... So today I decided to share with you a special of just "People" and unload a bit of that kind of pending photos... And this is then my entry today to the #monomad challenge!
¡Hola amigos de #Hive!... Como ustedes ya saben, mis "Historias Robadas" suelen incluir fotos de personas, pero también escenas de calle, animales, detalles y afines... ¡Pero se me están acumulando los retratos callejeros en mis discos duros!... Así que hoy decidí compartir con ustedes un especial de solo "Personas" y descargar un poco ese tipo de fotos pendientes... ¡Y esta es entonces mi entrada de hoy al reto #monomad!
"Demetrio"... It's impossible for me to walk past Demetrio's vegetable kiosk and not take a portrait of him!... So he is already used to this and practises mindlessly ignoring me while I'm in the surroundings taking pictures... 😂
"Demetrio"... ¡Es imposible para mi pasar por delante del kiosco de venta de verduras de Demetrio y no hacerle un retrato!... Así que él ya está acostumbrado a esto y practica mente hace caso omiso de mi mientras yo estoy en los alrededores haciendo fotografías... 😂
"El Morocho"... Well, my friend Cesar (at least I think this is Cesar) has an identical twin brother and actually maybe this one in the picture is Luis.... I didn't want to ask him who he is, because I've known them for 40 years and they've had enough of me never knowing which one is which!... 😂
"El Morocho"... Bien, mi amigo Cesar (al menos yo creo que este es Cesar) tiene un hermano gemelo idéntico y en realidad puede que este en la foto sea Luis... ¡Yo no he querido preguntarle quien es, pues les conozco desde hace 40 años y ya están hartos de que yo nunca sepa cual es cual!...
"No photos please!"... This is my friend (and distant relative) Marcos Parra... As you can see, he doesn't want me to take photos of him! 😂... I've known him since he was a kid, he's a good person, but definitely a bit of a curmudgeon...
"¡No fotos por favor!"... Este es mi amigo (y pariente lejano) Marcos Parra... ¡Como pueden observar, no quiere que le haga fotos! 😂 ... Le conozco desde que él era un niño, es buena persona, pero definitivamente algo cascarrabias...
"Jesús"... Meeting my friend Jesús Sánchez on his mule in the streets of the village is always a guarantee of a good portrait... Jesús is a shower of expressiveness and always speaks loudly!... He goes from the village to the mountains quite often and is quite an emblematic character of the village.
"Jesús"... Encontrarme a mi amigo Jesús Sánchez sobre su mula en las calles del pueblo, es siempre garantía de un buen retrato... ¡Jesús es un duchado de expresividad y habla a voz en cuello siempre!... Suele ir del pueblo a las montañas con cierta frecuencia y es un personaje bastante emblemático del pueblo.
"Emeterio"... My friend "Terio" (the diminutive of his name) lives near my house, exactly a couple of streets away, so I've known him since we were kids... He's a tough man, used to working in the fields... In recent years he suffered the unexpected loss of several family members, among them his father and his older brother... This plunged him into a period of depression and it was difficult to see him leave his house... However, he has overcome this problem and has now resumed his normal life thanks to the support of friends and strangers...
"Emeterio"... Mi amigo "Terio" (el diminutivo de su nombre" vive cerca de mi casa, a un par de calles exactamente, así que le conozco desde que eramos niños... Es un hombre recio, acostumbrado a las labores del campo... En años recientes sufrió la pérdida de varios familiares de forma inesperada, entre ellos su padre y su hermano mayor... Esto le sumió en un período de depresión y era difícil verle salir de su casa... Sin embargo, ha superado este problema y ya ha retomado su vida normal gracias al apoyo de propios y extraños...
"Gerardo"... My friend Gerardo greets me in the street and asks me to do a portrait... The sun is blazing and poor Gerardo is doing his best to look good in the photo... This is happening to me more and more, people are asking me to take pictures of them!... I love it!... 📷
"Gerardo"... Mi amigo Gerardo me saluda en la calle y me pide que le haga un retrato... El sol es inclemente y el pobre Gerardo hace lo posible por salir bien en la foto... ¡Esto me pasa cada vez más, la gente me solicita que le haga fotos!... ¡Me encanta!... 📷
"El Peluche"... My friend and very good shoemaker Orlando Farfán (AKA "Peluche") may already know him... And it's always good to take a portrait of him in passing!... Especially one like this one, where he is carelessly checking his mobile phone...
"EL Peluche"... A mi amigo y muy buen zapatero Orlando Farfán (AKA "Peluche") quizás ya le conocen... ¡Y siempre es bueno hacerle un retrato de pasada!... En especial uno como este, en donde está descuidado revisando su móvil...
"Bully, the butcher"... That's the nickname of my friend (left side) who works as a butcher... But in spite of that nickname, he is an excellent person and very friendly... On the right side, his partner... Whose name I don't know by the way!... But they both wanted a picture!!!... 😂📷
"Matón, el carnicero"... Ese es el mote de mi amigo (lado izquierdo) quien trabaja como carnicero... Pero a pesar de ese mote, es una excelente persona y muy amigable... Del lado derecho, su socio... ¡Cuyo nombre desconozco por cierto!... ¡Pero ambos querían una foto!!!... 😂📷
