Monomad || Vienna - Mariahilf Strasse & Stephansplatz

in #hive-1421592 years ago

It's been almost a year. I had been sharing some photos from Italy within the scope of #monomad challenge concept last year. Taking street photos is a fun without needing a lot of equipment. If you dive into research, certainly there are many concepts related to street photography. I think it might be unnecessary to do too much research unless you are trying to be a professional photographer. Street photography actually requires a little more freedom.

The play between light and shadow that are highlighted in the black and white photos with the simplicity of the emphasis on shapes is seems really cool. Historical textures of the objects bring to the mind the vitality of the past with the appropriate contrast.

Here are some photos that I have taken on the streets of Vienna.

Mariahilf Strassse is one of the most vibrant and bustling streets in Vienna. It is located in the 6th district and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. The street is lined with a wide variety of shops, ranging from trendy fashion boutiques to traditional Austrian bakeries, and everything in between.

The architecture of the buildings along Mariahilf Strasse is also noteworthy, with many historic facades that have been beautifully preserved. you'll also come across some fantastic cafes and restaurants serving up delicious local cuisine as you wander down the street. Whether you are looking for a shoppping spree, a bite to eat, or just a leisurely stroll, I think Mariahilf Strasse is definitely worth a visit.

The National Historical Museum in Vienna is an absolute must-see destination for anyone interested in the history of Austria. I came across the museum while walking in the street. Located in the heart of the city's old town, the museum boasts an impressive collection of artifacts and exhibits that span centuries of Austrian history.

Some of the museum's highlights include the Crown of the Holy Roman Empire, the carriage of Empress Elisabeth, and an extensive collection of paintings, sculptures, and other artworks. Whether you're a history buff or simply looking to learn more about Austria's past, the National Historical Museum is an absolute must-visit destination in Vienna.

Der Graben, or "the trench," is one of the most iconic and picturesque streets in Vienna. The street is lined with a variety of high-end boutiques and department stores, as well as some of Vienna's most historic and luxurious buildings. The street is also home to a number of street performers and musicians, who add to the lively and festive atmosphere of the area. But Der Graben is not just about shopping and entertainment - it also offers some stunning architectural sights, including the stunning Baroque facade of the Plague Column and the historic Stock-im-Eisen building, which is adorned with hundreds of nails hammered into its front. For those looking to soak up the culture and charm of Vienna, a stroll down Der Graben is an absolute must.

I guess Stephansplatz is the bustling central square in the heart of Vienna's city center, and one of the city's most iconic landmarks. The square is also surrounded by a variety of shops, cafes, and restaurants, making it a popular destinnation for both locals and tourists alike. Stephansplatz was one of the area that I have loved.

It's interesting how the mood changes with the highlights or shadows. The historical textures revealed through layers of paint and time-worn objects impact the soul if we focus inside the images...
