The Thrills of Documentary Photography

in #hive-1421595 days ago

Yourself, an introvert, or an extrovert?

Well, if you are a photography enthusiast or a professional, I think I have a clear system to tell that! :)

So, if you are into portrait or fashion photography, my well-educated guess would be, you're pretty much an extrovert, who likes to be around people and be the center of the attention. Street photography sometimes may fall under this category as well, as facing strangers in close encounters may bring some adrenaline too!

All the other types of photography - landscape, macro, travel, documentary, you're more likely an introvert.

Of course, things are never black and white, except for the Black and White photography, of course!

So perhaps you've already seen photos from those wedding traditions, celebrations and rituals I tried to cover in my docu-series about the village of Ribnovo in Bulgaria.

Here, I've been enjoying the thrills of the documentary photography as I've been able to capture real and true emotions and moments, of course, as far as natural emotions could be in the presence of a crowd...

Not being noticed or at least most people don't care or pretend you aren't there and visible, has its perks.

Now, let's enjoy these few moments and places from the public wedding procession on the streets of Ribnovo, Bulgaria.

You probably know by now how much I love Black & White or sometimes referred as Monochromatic photography. I have always believed that while Color Photography shows the external part of our world, Black and White Photography shows the soul, the inner hidden side of everything. Please consider the first photo of this post as my entry today to the established #monomad daily contest by the monochromes account and community and supported by the qurator account, thank you everyone for your hard and continuous efforts to build and grow this great community!
