Even in the cold and covered in snow, these landscapes are breathtaking. Mountains, trees, water, and ice all make for a magnificent environment at Elbow Falls, about a 1.5-hour drive outside of Calgary. The spring previous to this had some major flooding, so some of the trees around here have been flattened, and in the years that have passed since, I would be curious to see what it looks like now. I am sure it is much the same, maybe a bit more forest, and I'm sure that roar of the water is the one thing that will always remain unchanged here.
