Fireworks come in all shapes and sizes, it seems. I always find that there is a nice challenge in capturing them as they explode in the sky and leave their colorful, bright patterns. I prefer to use about a 4-6 second exposure so that I can get more streaks, and I also find it allows me to watch more with my own eyes as I just hold the remote while I look up at the sky. Things happen to fast to really be making adjustmnets so I typically will set everything up do some test shots and just roll with what I have.
