This is near a fishing spot just as you get into the Rockies from the city of Calgary. Goat Pond is somewhat tucked away a little bit off the highway. It's where the hills give way to mountains, and it definitely is where the air is fresher and the noise of city life is so far in the distance that you can't hear a thing. You might hear the wind blow or a crow caw or the water crashing against the shore. I find all these sounds to be very relaxing and peaceful, perfect for framing up some mountain landscapes and seeing what I can capture in my lens.
