I wonder how can the same place be so calm, serene and peaceful at times, and change completely during a time to be aggressive, wild, full of rage, scary and imposing? Well, that's how this little corner of Uruguay can be, a peninsula in the Atlantic Sea, with mild nights and sometimes not so much, I'm talking about this because today the east coast of the country is being hit by a subtropical cyclone, winds of more than 130km that they not only wreak havoc by themselves, but they also bring the "swell", the immense sea that enters the coast and destroys dunes and routes that border the entire coastline, in some locations they even reach houses and summer buildings that are located very close to the sea to have privileged views during your short summer vacations.
There are always a few people that tend to take advantage of these dangerous moments to make a profit, such as surfers, for example, who are already prepared to meet those enormous waves that are so desired and unique, with incredible power, cloudy water due to the force of the storm, and a incredible amount of foam that the sea usually forms in these latitudes when it is so agitated, it is like the result of an oceanic shake, the meringue of nature that covers everything that is nearby.
However, a few days later we can find ourselves with that ambiguous landscape of post-storm images that leaves its trail with destruction and disorder in contrast to a unique calm in the environment that occurs only after spending these strong moments.

Me pregunto ¿como puede ser un mismo sitio tan calmo, sereno y pacifico en algunas ocaciones, y cambiar completamente durante un tiempo para ser agresivo, salvaje, lleno de ira, aterrador e imponente? Pues asi puede ser este rinconsito del Uruguay, una peninsula en el mar atlantico, con noches suaves y algunas veces no tanto, hablo de esto porque hoy mismo la costa este de pais esta siendo asotada por un ciclon subtropical, vientos de mas de 130km que no solo causan estragos por si mismos si no que tambien traen la "marejada", el inmenzo mar que se adentra en la costa y destroza medanos y rutas que bordean todo el litoral, en elgunas locaciones incluso llegan a casas y edificios veraniegos que se ubican muy cerca del mar para tener vistas previlegiadas durante sus cortas vacaciones estivales.
Siempre hay algunos que suelen aprovechar estos momentos peligrosos para sacar beneficios, como los surfistas por ejemplo que ya estan preparados para encontrarse con esas enormes olas tan deseadas y unicas, con una potencia increible, el agua turbia por la fuerza de la tormenta, y un monton increible de espuma que suele formar el mar por estas latitudes cuando se agita tanto, es como el resultado de un batido oceanico, el merengue de la naturaleza que cubre todo lo que esta cerca.
Sin embargo unos pocos dias despues podemos encontrarnos con ese paisaje ambiguo de imagenes post tormenta que deja su rastro con destrozos y desorden en contraste de una calma unica en el ambiente que se da solo despues de pasar estos momentos tan fuertes.
