I'm participating in the #monomad challenge with this post.
Title: BW monocat
Our gray kitty remains with us. She is gradually learning the fundamentals of hunting. She is now the greatest at stalking prey. She has yet to catch anything larger than a butterfly, but she is patiently experimenting with numerous methods.
The building next to the house, which was formerly a barn and is now a storage-workshop, is frequently utilized as a nesting spot by numerous birds. Currently, it is most often visited by swallows. The kitten couldn't miss that opportunity. She climbed up to the front door from where she was stalking swallows.
For a while, she watched the constant entry and exit of birds from the facility, waiting for the right opportunity to attack. Several unsuccessful attempts to catch the bird with its front paws discouraged her.
After an unsuccessful hunt, she voraciously ate the pellets from the plastic container.
Better luck next time.
