This post is my entry for the #monomad challenge.
Title: domestic and stray cats
My neighborhood sometimes reminds me of the Japanese cartoon Isle of Dogs. It's as if there is a conspiracy among certain people who are cat lovers and dog haters. Before, you could regularly see a few dogs on the street, while now you can only hear barking from the closed yards. The streets are completely given over to cats, where they roam freely and stalk various animals. That can't be considered a bad thing because it's in their nature. Cats are predators and will use any opportunity to catch prey. Sometimes they are ready to wait a long time in ambush. And if they don't catch anything, it doesn't matter; they will certainly eat something in the homes where they normally live.
In the following photos, you can see the various cats I come across.
