I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. This is my entry for the #monomad challenge June 4th. I often capture natural scenes in my posts. Natural scenes always look good in color. Similarly capture street view and if you convert it to black and white it looks more beautiful. I love this contest because it gives me something new to do. Today's photographs are the beautiful city Antwerp, Belgium. Antwerp is located in the northern part of Belgium close to the coast. I have made a post on this city before. And in that too I captured and presented the street view of the city. But the street in today's post is different from the previous post.
The street seen in the photograph above is Antwerp's most famous, the Antwerpen Opera. Here there is the most frequent traffic in the evening. Opera metro station is nearby. There are also many restaurants on the street due to which this street is very busy. This street has also got 2 names. Locals call this street Operaplein, while outsiders know it as Antwerp Opera Street. But when you think about all this, you realize that it is all the same.
As I told you in this post, this street is very busy and there is a lot of traffic here. So many people present their hidden talent to the street people. And their talent is also appreciated. A living example of which is the photograph above.
The statue in the photograph above is of David Teniers the Younger. He was a great painter. And to respect his art, his statue has been placed in this square. I really liked the heritage buildings around this street. From any angle you capture the photograph here, it always comes out beautiful which is the specialty of this street.
If you take a look at the surrounding buildings, you will like them even though they are old. The fact that the heritage here is being preserved intact is indeed worthy of thanks. Because as the modern time comes, people start making the old thing new. As the old becomes new, its preciousness also decreases. Which is not applicable in this case.
Looking at the fountain above, I remembered the heat of our place. Because here we have also got fountains on the street through the government network so that there is some humidity and moisture in the atmosphere during the afternoon. But on the contrary, the fountain above is Heritage. Apart from that, many photographs of the statue of David Teniers the Younger were captured in the camera from different angles, which I present to you here.
Antwerp is a really beautiful city. If you want to really enjoy this city, you should explore it on foot. So you can enjoy its heritage. The heritage buildings here are less than appreciated.
