Roman amphitheater in Verona

Hello everyone!

The amphitheater in Verona is an ancient Roman building that was built in the early 1st century AD. The arena (Arena di Verona) is located at Piazza Bra in the city center and is one of the best-preserved buildings of this type. That is why it attracts tourists and is one of the symbols of the city. It is still in use today; in ancient times, gladiator fights took place here, and nowadays, among others, opera performances and concerts. While the photos were being taken, preparations for the next event were underway.

Amfiteatr w Weronie to starożytna rzymska budowla, która powstała na początku I wieku naszej ery. Arena (Arena di Verona) znajduje się przy placu Piazza Bra w centrum miasta oraz jest to jedna z najlepiej zachowanych budowli tego typu. Dlatego przyciąga do siebie turystów oraz jest jednym z symboli miasta. Do tej pory nadal jest w użyciu, w starożytności odbywały się tutaj walki gladiatorów, natomiast obecnie wystawiane są tu m.in. przedstawienia operowe oraz koncerty. W czasie wykonywania zdjęć trwały przygotowania do kolejnej imprezy.
