Hail to the Hive!

I realised while traveling the other day on the train that striving for perfection can sometimes cause us to overlook other things and that as I am sure we have all noticed or acknowledged at some point in our lives that imperfections are often whats cool about something.

So there I was on the train, mind wandering, a little bored but always aware of whats around me and I wanted to capture a cool shot of the wonderful coastline we were passing. At first I was a little frustrated as there was reflections in the glass and raindrops, dirt etc on the window and it wasn't going to happen.

And then by accident I captured a midway shot of the seats and the window (reflection, rain, dirt and all) and it made me stop a moment.
Once transformed into black and white it took on a totally different vibe. Now we had a dual view of sets on the carriage and the outside to one side. there was something there. An Image showing 2 worlds, a protected sterile world and the wild exposed freedom of the outside.

I liked it.

So I took some more and then started to adjust, look and wait for the shots. It was fun. As usual I got the odd look from others thinking, ( what is this idiot waving his I Pad about for? ) but hey fuck them I was having fun and the boredom was gone. Cast off as I was now focused and smiling on something I couldn't share with the antisocial wankers on the train.

I was so lost in the moment that when we pulled up the the station I ws a little sad it was over.

But at least I can share with you guys. I know at least a few of you will understand 😁.
