#Monomad Challenge - Vade in pace et Dominus tecum sit [En-Pt]

Habits take root.... slowly, and almost without us noticing. To the point where they become rites, customs, and cease to have any real meaning.

As some of you know, I was on vacation the week before last. And although I was in a heavenly place, and with excellent company, there were moments when the joy that existed around me couldn't get into me.

I think that could be the definition of a gap between reality and feeling.

But today I'm not going to get too carried away with deep reflections.

For some reason, late in the afternoon, I decided to take the car and drive to a neighboring town to go to the Eucharist. I hadn't done that for a while. It was an attempt to find some inner peace. For almost an hour, it was nice to be in community and feel some rest.

I have to confess that nature is more pleasant and makes me feel more energized. But what can I say other than “Go in peace and may the Lord be with you”?

Os hábitos enraízam-se.... devagar, e sem quase darmos por tal. Até ao ponto que se tornam já ritos, costumes, e deixam de ter o seu verdadeiro sentido.

Como alguns de vós sabem, estive na semana anterior de férias. E apesar de ter estado num local paradisíaco, e com excelente companhia, houve momentos em que a alegria que existia ao meu redor, não conseguiu entrar em mim.

Penso que essa poderá ser uma definição de um desfasamento entre a realidade e o sentimento.

Mas hoje não vou alargar-me muito com reflexões profundas.

Por alguma razão, ao fim da tarde, decidi pegar no carro, e conduzir até a uma localidade vizinha para ir à Eucaristia. Não o fazia há algum tempo. Foi uma tentativa de procura de alguma paz interior. Por quase uma hora, foi agradável ter estado em comunidade, e sentir algum descanso.

Confesso que a Natureza é mais agradável e que me deixa mais animado. Mas o que posso dizer senão "Ide em Paz e que o Senhor vos acompanhe"?
