Good morning beloved brothers and sisters in the lord.
It's time as believers to abide in the word of God if we want to receive answers from God. Many believers pray a lot without the word and then nothing happens. The primary way in which we contact God is through the living word, which is powerful, quick, and sharper than any two-edged sword. The word of God is the only avenue to build our faith because the bible says,
Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Without faith, we can't please; our faith must have a root in the word. Without the word creating room or storage in our hearts, then our dealings with God are in vain. The word is the bedrock of laying a foundation for the connection between God and man. Even the bible is impossible to please. You can't please God if you don't have the word in your heart. Going to God with the heart of believing, knowing fully well He is the rewarder of those who seek Him wholeheartedly without strings attached.
In this generation, we happen to see young people getting closer to God when they want God to do something for them, like marriage, money, or stuff like that. But God doesn't work like that. The Bible says, to seek Him because you want to know Him more and more.
Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
A lot of believers pray without applying faith, and when there are no results, they complain that God is not answering their prayers. I have answers to prayer through praying in the word, giving the right word to the problem I was in, I believe that God says this, and it worked for me.
The word is very sharp when you have faith, just as ye bible says:
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
The word that was released from the mouth of God then was powerful and it is still powerful today. I realized that the greatest and most powerful history in the world is the history of the Bible especially the words spoken by Jesus and the lessons we can learn from other bible characters.
Allowing the word of God in your heart will make a big difference. The words "truth and life" will spring forth speaking to you clearly and concisely. This is what the word can do when it fills your heart.
