That part of the scripture that talked about giving is still active till forever. There is one thing that has been generally misplaced, that's the issue of giving.
Many give and expect to receive what they gave from same person even more. The bible didn't say, the person you have to will give back to you. There is this brother of mine who is so bad at giving, with his all he makes sure that you don't benefit from his wealth rather those his friends he is sure will give to him. I see that as a bad way of life and nothing to emulate at all from it.
The moment one is giving with all his heart there is no need to get worried because even more will return not necessarily from the same so but am sure more will come. severally I have seen this work out in my own case and many around me.
It is important that kids learn how to be generous from their young age and this can be much possible if we as parents will do our best to encourage them to learn to share and consider others whose parents can't afford much. Kids learn by example, so it is good to live the life we wish them to live
