Welcome to my time capsule. 😊 We are traveling back several years to meet a girl much like me, but far younger and more naive. I will be telling you her story through her eyes over the coming weeks and months. I hope you enjoy it and see the many ways her Savior has guided her every step of the way! All of my posts marked with #LaAventuraDeLaVida are a part of this ongoing series.

So, I realized that a lot of what I’ve been posting is pretty abstract as far as my day-to-day activities go. I wanted to give you all a better picture (and a few pictures) to give you a better understanding of what it is I’m actually doing.
The alarm goes off at 5:30, and I usually try to roll out of bed by 5:45. After a quick breakfast, Bible time, and getting ready (I move really slowly in the mornings),I’m out waiting for the bus at 7:10, usually doing my hair on the bus because I didn’t manage to get it finished before I left.
The first stop on Monday mornings is Devotional. The kids sing songs together as a school, listen to a Bible story, learn about the value of the week, and hear about a new country to pray for each week. They have prayed for Syria, Romania, India, Japan, Papua New Guinea, and India, among others.
Every other day it’s straight to class at 8am (or whenever the buses get there) with my crazy wonderful second graders.
Forty minutes or so of class, then it’s off to recess before the next forty minutes. The boys love to play soccer, the girls just love the playground, and I almost always get flowers from my adoring public. xD
After finishing second grade, I have a ten minute break before third grade starts. I assist with them from 10:00 to 11:40. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, I also assist in seventh grade from 11:25 to 12:15. (Haven’t managed a pic of them yet).
Two classes down, two to go! But I’ll tell you about those after the lunch break…
