Kingdom principles wasn't meant to be taught in the church rather, it was a family fair to be communicated, inculcate and imbibe in their offsprings, as the family fails, it became imperative to be taught by all.

Let them know this truth

Genesis 18:17-18 Then the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do? Abraham will surely become a great and powerful nation, and all nations on earth will be blessed through him.

Committing the faith to the next generation is the act of giving in trust or putting into charge or entrusting for a safe keeping. The faith is the conviction about what you believe and this case, it's about God, the gospel and his kingdom. Faith radiate from knowing that's knowledge to firm belief that's doing it to conviction that's reflecting on it

Meanwhile, conviction brings a man to the point of dying for what he believes, in order other words, it is a breeds of loyal of what you know and believe for, God's earnest desire is establish his laws in everyman's heart. Jeremiah 31:33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the Lord. “I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people. It's at this point, conviction is possible because the knowing is no more a head knowledge rather a lifestyle which is inward.

teach the younger generation

Who are then next generation to commit the faith to?

The next generation comprises of the young people, the youth and the children who will takes over after the present generation, in order words, generation are usually delineated by changes in culture, technology, concepts etc, even with these, it is seen that God, his character and priority and covenant remains unchanged.

Why should we committed our faith to the next generation

***2 Timothy 2:2 And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.**** A man has to be faithful to be able to preserve these conviction to the next generation and the level of a man's faithfulness will determine the level of conviction. The young people knows about the God of their parents but they don't know that he can be their God too.

in conclusion, never hide the truth embedded in the gospel to the next generation. Psalm 78:4-8
We will not hide them from their descendants; we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, his power, and the wonders he has done. He decreed statutes for Jacob and established the law in Israel, which he commanded our ancestors to teach their children, so the next generation would know them, even the children yet to be born, and they in turn would tell their children. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands. They would not be like their ancestors— a stubborn and rebellious generation, whose hearts were not loyal to God, whose spirits were not faithful to him.
