Low key for the night... or vice versa

in #hive-1428212 years ago

Roses are beautiful, even when they fall asleep, they do not lose their charm. This rose has dried up to a ringing rustle. During the day, this sight can cause sadness. Another thing at night...

Here there is a mystery and a special charm of form and color. The darkness hides everything superfluous, everything that distracts attention from the charmer.

A little drama of broken plates...

Don't ask me what it is (it's actually an avocado nut and a blackberry mushroom, but no one should know about it, not even me)

In fact, this is the result of my insomnia, and the night has created natural conditions for shooting in a low key.

I think, generally, I prefer low-key photography over high-key :)
The surrounding black or darkness always underlines the character of the picture.

Согласен, я тоже люблю низкий ключ. Но всё зависит от сюжета :)

Of course! :)
Low key also adds a pinch of darkness to the whole picture.
Another reason I like it as that usually paid photo sessions, no matter of people or products, usually ask for high key. So low key... less commercial and thus more artistic :)))

Hey @lightcaptured, here is a little bit of BEER from @bambuka for you. Enjoy it!

Did you know that <a href='https://dcity.io/cityyou can use BEER at dCity game to buy cards to rule the world.

When there are a lot of individual details in the photo, attention is scattered. The darkness helps to gather it into a bundle :)
I like oil paintings by old artists, scenes, still lifes in dark colors. A lot of darkness and little light. Light only where it is needed. This leaves a gap for human imagination )
