My entry for the #green-essay contest of the week!
Verde es el color de La Esperanza… green is the colour of HOPE.
Well I believe there’s always hope when we let ourselves sink by nature 💚
I was lucky enough to bump into @mipiano post this week's essay... and what a beautiful coincidence, this week is about one of my favorite colors.... Green.
What better than talking about the first color that comes to mind when you think of Pachamama, Mother Nature... than the color of leaves... plants, trees, grass, moss... it's everywhere where I am right now... the one and only: Scotland!
It's also a coincidence that I wear green almost every day ;P
I would also like to share with you a little treasure about this beautiful plant, the fern.
It came to me from the words of a wise man, so I can't tell you what culture it comes from, but I think it comes from the Celts.
The fern is a plant that can be seen in abundance in many northern European forests, I have also seen it in Australia, and I am sure it is also in many more forests, but what I know best is northern Europe, this is the reason I mention it.
This is where the magic comes from, it is said, that in the areas where these beautiful and fractal plants abound, it is a mystical zone where the connection between our world and the world of otherworldly creatures is joined.
That is why these forests are called "magical forest" you can imagine fairies and gnomes walking around there... but it is not only from our imagination, those who are sensitive are able to see and connect in these places...
Before we go, I am going to tell you a secret! This story is the reason why I decided to tattoo this leaf on my creative hand, to connect with the worlds and create magic with the art I do :)
I hope you liked the view of this infinite landscape of shades of green. All the photos are made by me (or my mum when I’m on the photo myself) and all the ferns are of different species 🌿
Thank you @stresskiller @hive-14396 for motivating us to talk through photos and @ecency for sponsoring this!
