It's time to go flower shopping and get all my pots and planters filled with colorful annuals. I'm quite lucky to get so much help from my family to get my deck looking beautiful!
Urhausen greenhouse has been a family owned business since 1922. They grow all their own flowers, vegetables and herbs in their 9 greenhouses.
Inside, the greenhouse has a fabulous smell to it – a mix of pungent tomato leaves, flower fragrances and the earthy smell of moist compost warmed by the sun.
I need a mixture of plants that will grow well in sun, and also others that will thrive in shade. There are so many beautiful choices, but definitely more plants that like full sun.
I think everyone comes out with more plants than they intended! Now to get them planted, keep them well watered and enjoy a colorful summer out on my deck!
