Color is Purple

With this blog, I participate in #Photo-essay contest for this week topic "Purple colour": https://ecency.com/@hive-14396/photo-essay-contest-nr-7. The pictures in this post I took especially for this contest.

Of course, in June you can find a lot of purple flowers blooming; but I considered it would not be intresting when everyone would have the same pictures, therefore I decided to find something different. When I was at the food shop I saw these cookies, I didn’t think a lot but immediately realized: this is it, I found the color of this week!

These cookies made of shortcrust pastry with sugar icing and blueberries jam. It is this toning with blueberry jam gave them such a rich color. The Chinese-style craquelure plate is worthy of the finest oriental restaurants, and the blue-green backdrop added a beautiful contrast. I also added a bunch of dried lavender from my mother's stocks to balance the composition. I hope you liked my photos!

Wow! Lovely purple subjects dear. I bet this purple cookie is very delicious.
Those flowers are beautiful too.
Is it summer there now on your side? Mins it's suppose to be the monsoon months but thankfully the weather still feels like summer. We only have two seasons here, we call it the wet and the dry.. haha

It's hard when it's wet or during the rainy stormy months because we get a lot of floodings. So praying it won't rain so hard this year.

Yeah, we are right in the middle of it. The berries are ripening, and in a few months there will appear apples and watermelons. (No, we do not grow watermelones in our garden). I slightly know about this two-seasons thing in Southern Hemisphere, but never was able to check it myself. Decaying of nature in autumn is what I like, and sleeping of nature in winter is not among my faves. But the proper snow can be very nice, if you have a warm coat. Maybe you will travel one day and experience it yourself? And what is your fave one - between Dry and Wet? the dry one? 😘

I love spring, your spring dear... Haha. I would love to visit a cold place some day like in Europe, I love to feel the cool, cold snow for once in my life... Haha
When I was young that was one of my dreams and I hope it will happen.

I love the weather during November- January because it's cool and not wet. I don't like the rainy season because when it rains it only means one thing there is a storm, a typhoon a cyclone happening. Destroying houses and leaving. People displaced specially the floodings in our city.
Summer here is so very hot like one time it reached to 40 degrees Celsius in our city. For this year good thing the hottest was 35 degrees celsius but still very very hot your skin will really be toasted if you go out from 9am to 4pm. It's where the sun is really hot.

Wow! Cool you grow some fruits in your own backyard like the apples. Apples don't really grow here in our country we have to import from Japan, China and Korea, so lucky you you get to eat apples whenever it's in season for free.

oOoOO! Berries, what kinds? Red, blue or black? Or probably strawberries. We have strawberries in my country but it only grows on the highlands part of our country which is in Baguio city 242miles from us, a three to four hour drive.
My son goes to the University there too. A great place conducive for learning there are a lot of good universities there too.

I wish to experience autumn too. I think if ever Ican visit a snowy country I prefer the spring and autumn weather.☺️☺️😍
