The 12th of March in 2021 was a rainy day here in my area.
A friend of mine had some problems with his car, so I drove to the supermarket in which he works to pick him up.
His working place was and still is, in Pula. The nearest city. About ten kilometers from Medulin, the small seaside town in which we both live.
These photographs were taken on our way to Medulin.
The traffic was going very slow through the suburban neighborhood along the road that leads back home.
The situation was slightly annoying, but at least I was able to comfortably hold the camera and shoot through the wet windshield.
From our place in the line, we couldn't see what was slowing the traffic down. That led to a spontaneous exchange of ideas and theories about the subject.
When this photograph was taken, the mystery was about to be revealed ...
... and you can see what we saw back then.
There was a car accident. Although the situation wasn't funny, nobody was seriously injured. That's what I learned some hours later when I checked the local news on the Internet.
We were out of the city when this shot was taken.
This is a scene we encountered in Medulin.
Two experts were looking at the mysterious stuff inside the hole that is usually firmly closed. Their position looked pretty risky. I mean, those two were standing in the middle of the relatively busy road, on a gloomy, rainy day, with no high-visibility clothing. My friend lives only 40 - 50 meters further. I stopped by his yard, he left, and I continued ...
... to the grocery store.
Only a couple of people were there, so I bought the stuff I needed quickly.
When I sat in the car again, I didn't drive away immediately. This interesting ball on the wall across the street was visible through the windshield. It looked like a globe model of some distant planet.
This cow was showing her meat ...
... on the advert in front of the butcher's shop.
I took a couple of shots also on my way to Pula. Before I reached the supermarket.
The rain was about to start but wasn't there when these photographs were taken. The mist was hanging in the air ...
... as I was approaching the first suburban buildings of Pula.
AND THAT'S IT. AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK - THE END.
