Hello everyone!!
I trust we had a wonderful day. Mine was a bit stressful, but I am happy it all went well. On the path through my final days in school, at some point I have been able to have that feeling of relief, even though it's just too demanding financially at this final phase. There is so much joy derived from achieving a particular goal, and I believe most of us in one way or another have had that feeling about success. Back to my schedule, I was able to meet up with my photomicrography, which is why I find it really interesting because, if I am permitted to say so, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
So far in my clinical research, I have been able to go through the process with a basic scientific approach to avoid mistakes. Starting from the research proposal written, which was to check if the project is researchable and worth researching, After submission of the proposal for approval, my supervisor loved that aspect of diabetes mellitus because of its prevalence in Cross River State and Akwa Ibom State in Nigeria. Since diabetes affects various organs of the body, my supervisor saw the need to group the students to enable easy learning and an approach to areas of concern.
In my own part, I was assigned to check whether the extracts used cured diabetes or only improved the situation, specifically the effects on the testes. Just after normal administration, a histological process was carried out to see the representation of the tissue under a microscope, and of course, images were taken to ascertain a perfect description.
For the record, my project topic is "The histomorphological and biochemical effects of Annona muricata and Cymbopogan citratus aqueous extracts on the testes of Alloxan-induced diabetic Wistar rats."
Thank you so much for reading!
Full information about the preparation will be dropped later on.
