My life isn't hard, I can manage every month. I have food every day, a roof over my head, and in short, I'm still able to provide well for my family.
But of course, there are times when I think about wanting to have this or that. It's not that I'm not content; I'm happy with what God has given me now. But I don't think it's bad to have the ambition to add to what I have now.
I often think about new side hustles, as many people call them. One of my side hustles is being a freelance graphic artist. But there aren't many clients because many people are skilled and are okay with simple graphics made with free online tools, so this hustle doesn't bring in much.
A few months ago, I started doing affiliate marketing on TikTok, CLICK HERE TO FOLLOW ME ON TIKTOK but since I was new and inexperienced, I got a bit discouraged due to low engagement.
Now, I've revived my plan, but this time I've expanded it. I've also joined Shopee Affiliate.
It's hard to do affiliate marketing when you're just starting, especially if you don't have samples or videos. From what I know, some people invest in buying samples at the start. When sellers see that you have few followers, they won't give you free samples. How can you make a video if you don't have a product, right? Hahaha!!!
So what did I do? My wife and I love to shop online for personal items. I've bought a lot online, so now it's time to make money from them.
What I did was look for products I already have at home that can be affiliated, meaning there are already sellers selling them on TikTok or Shopee.One of the items I found was a portable mini rechargeable fan that I bought for our baby, so that when we go out, they have a fan and won't get too hot.
I bought this from Lazada, but I'm sure it's also available on Shopee and TikTok, so I searched and found it.I made a video using the item I already have. I edited it in CapCut and added AI voice-over because it's noisy here at home. I posted it on Shopee Video, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, and of course, I included the link. For now, I think this is what I'll really focus on. Since I don't have the capital for a business, who knows, my followers might increase one day, and someone will notice my account and approve a free sample.
So I'm calling on my fellow Filipinos out there who are also patiently doing side hustles. Please support me in the hustle I'm doing now by following my other accounts or just by watching my video.
