My baby girl isn't used to sitting alone yet. She's just at the stage of starting to crawl, where she can prop herself up on her knees but hasn't quite started crawling yet using them.
She can sit up, but she still needs to be supported because if she leans to the side, she'll topple over. So she always sits on the bed, just in case she leans and falls, it's a soft landing.
The other day, her dad and I went to the mall and he decided to put her in a high chair while we were eating.
When her dad noticed she was getting bored in the chair because she couldn't get out, he bought her a small toy to keep her entertained while she was in the high chair. At first, she was amused, but after a while, she started crying.
So we had no choice but to carry her.
This is how we always are at the mall or whenever we go out since she can't walk yet and isn't used to sitting in a high chair.
Her dad carries her, and I feed her while her dad eats.
If we didn't do this and took turns carrying the baby, it might take us a long time to finish eating.
We're not in a hurry for her to sit by herself, we're fine and happy carrying her while her dad and I eat.
