My Baby Luv's woke up beautifully today because she had a sound sleep last night.
But her sleep hasn't been consistently good lately, probably because she's growing up and her sleeping habits are changing, which I try my best to control.
Sometimes, she wakes up again in less than an hour, and the result is that I can't sleep either.
When you have a baby, it's good to synchronize your sleep with your baby's so that when the baby wakes up, you're not sleepy.
But how can I sleep well if she's only been sleeping for one hour and she's already awake?
The funny thing is when she wakes up, she smiles at me so sweetly. It's like she's okay with just one hour of sleep, and she's all lively again to play with me.
Sometimes, she sleeps until 8 pm, so when she wakes up, it will take a few hours before she gets sleepy again.
The other day, she slept until 4 am. Hahaha!
So now, I'm trying to control her sleep. Even if she's sleepy, I don't put her to sleep immediately so she can sleep at the right time.
I'm also training her to remember her sleeping pattern, like putting on her pajamas when it's time for her to sleep before I lull her to sleep.
At the time I put her to bed, I play music. I play the same music every time I put her to sleep because I want her to get used to it, so when she hears that music, she knows it's sleeping time.
My baby is heavy, so it's hard for me to carry her because I'm not a big woman, so most of the time, her daddy carries her to sleep.
I also read on forums that babies can be trained to put themselves to sleep.
What do you do to make sure your baby sleeps on time?
