Hello Nature Lovers. I hope you all enjoy free time in nature. Hopefully All the beauty that is presented by nature, it can give you all the peace and happiness.
For me, there is nothing more enjoyable than being able to spend free time having fun in the open nature.
As in the last few days, we have several activities that are directly related to nature, we carry out monitoring and sweeping along the river to monitor various illegal activities along the river basin.
This river is still very natural and you can say the water is still very well maintained, although at first glance the water is yellow, it's just a reflection of the sand at the bottom of this river, the sand is golden yellow, but when we lift it, the water is very clean and drinkable immediately.
This river has a length of about 30 km which crosses several protected forest areas and production forests, as well as crosses several residential areas.
That day, I and some environmental activist friends, we did a sweep along the 7 km of the river using 2 small boats made of wood and robin engines.
We do this activity once a week, patrolling and monitoring all activities that occur along the river, especially to prevent illegal logging along this river.
The government has long established rules regarding this river, that this is a watershed that must be maintained, because this river is one of the largest rivers that flows enough water for the prosperity of the community, farmers and planters really support their hopes from this river's water stock. Therefore, the government must maintain this river so that the water discharge remains available.
The main thing that must be maintained so that the river water discharge remains available is to prevent the action of logging trees in the forest and along the river.
Thankfully, we found no signs of illegal activity throughout our journey,
And the huts that are visible along the river are owned by their farmers, they grow various types of horticultural crops here, such as chilies, sweet potatoes, vegetables and there are also other types of garden plants such as coffee and papaya plants.
The atmosphere along this river is very cool and beautiful, I feel peace every time we travel along the river route, sometimes we also stop for a while at several points where there are beaches, enjoy lunch and coffee, after that we go back to sweeping until we reach a distance of 7 km .
But before heading home, we stopped again on land, here we can see a towering tree house,
This tree house was made because in this area large animals, namely elephants, often arrive. Farmers must prepare a safe place when these large animals come.
But apart from providing a safe place from disturbance by wild elephants, farmers are also equipped with stun cannons to drive away wild elephants when large animals come down to their agricultural areas.
Back on the boat for the return trip, the atmosphere along the river is getting cooler and I feel more and more the freshness that nature offers along this trip.
Traveling through river paths and forest paths, for me is something that I do very often and I will continue to do, for no other purpose, only for the purpose of keeping nature intact and always providing great benefits to everyone.
Maintaining the continuity of nature is not only maintaining water discharge and oxygen stocks, but nature is always a place of relaxation that brings calm and peace.
Capturing all the pictures of nature along the river is something that should not be forgotten. Beautiful and impressive, of course with full hope, this atmosphere will always be maintained for all time.
Keeping nature beautiful is our collective duty, because nature is the beginning of all life.
